DanceDanceRevolution Qualifier Tournaments DetailOn the day of the event check-in for the event begins one hour before the GameWorks location opens.  Once all 160 participants have checked in, the tournament competition will begin.

Starting with Round One, the first 160 participants to register, compete in Round One. The top sixteen total scores in Round One proceed to Round Two.

Round Two and Round Three pit these competitors against each other based on the high score from the previous round versus the low score from the previous round.  Play in these rounds begins with the middle scores going first and the high and low scores going last.  This gives the high scoring competitor from each round the advantage of knowing what they need to score in order to move forward.  In each of these rounds the players select their arrow speed and difficulty level but the song selection is random.  You can view the song lists for the tournament by clicking here.    

In Round Four and Five, the semi-finals and finals of each qualifier, the format changes to best three out of five competition.  In each of these rounds the players select their arrow speed, difficulty level, and one song each.  The final song(s) are selected randomly.

The participant with the highest score from the Round Five will be declared the 2009 DanceDanceRevolution Qualifier Official Winner and will be invited to the 2009 DanceDanceRevolution US Championship in Las Vegas, Nevada on Saturday, December 5th, 2009.
